At Christmas 2008, a small hungry and cold cat appeared at the door of Southwark Cathedral in London. Named Doorkins Magnificat by the vergers who fed her,
Doorkins made the Cathedral her home lived at the Cathedral until 2019 when she retired and went to live with a member of staff. Doorkins is still very popular with visitors, congregation and guests and has even met the Queen!
Doorkins sits proudly on a background of richly interwoven flowers, based on 15th century “Mille Fleur” tapestries.
Can be used indoors or outside and holes in the corners of the tile to use as fixing points.
