Chuckleberry is a new berry that the London Borough of Jam have just discovered which is a Redcurrant, Gooseberry and Jostaberry cross. To make it more interesting a Jostaberry itself a hybrid of a Gooseberry and Blackcurrant. The result is a blackcurrant-like bush that produces high yields of dark, superbly flavoured, attractive, versatile berries in mid-July. The berries make fantastic red jams and jellies.
Ingredients: Chuckleberries, unrefined caster sugar & lemon juice.
